so sumo is seriously an AWESOME thing to behold. i have all kinds of pics and video of these dudes at this tourney that bry and i went to. i highly recommend that if you ever get the chance, you go! there is a ton of ceremony that goes into it and the matches can be very quick but VERY intense. part of the ceremony is the whole intimidation factor between opponents. we seriously had no idea what to expect but loved the whole experience. i mean c'mon - they had sake for sale to drink while watching the tourney :0) who could ask for more.......oh wait for it......yes, they had sushi too!! the crowd was hilarious too. everyone got SO into it and even bry and i were screaming to cheer on our favorite sumo dudes by the end even though we'd never seen or heard of any of them before! you MUST go if you can!!
this is the FINAL championship that we got to watch. there was a tourney on sat and one on sun and this is the final between the champ on sat vs. the champ on sun to see who won overall!! i have a couple other videos of some awesome throws etc if anyone is interested.........shout out!
