once every four years we're given the opportunity to attempt to have our voices heard. it's interesting to me how the process has changed and been interpreted over time yet the government still attempts to give us a voice. i know that in the past the people of my generation have given up on the government and their privilege to vote but i haven't. this race was an odd one with the candidates running for two years which inspired a lot of people to show up to the polls this election day. i'm glad that something has finally inspired this nation to stand up and at least attempt to have their voices heard even if neither of the candidates are particularly appealing. at least something has gotten my generation off their butts and into those booths to speak. i hope that those of you who take the time to bother to read my ramblings share my view point and move your behind to your local polling location. if you haven't yet, there's still time people so MOVE IT!! it doesn't matter what you believe or who you believe in.......just have your voices heard no matter how weak or strong you believe that to be.~danban

I voted for the first time last night. The two that I really wanted didn't work in my favor though :(
