i don't really have much to share these days. i'm not seeing much in terms of weight loss with the diet and exercise. that's hot helped by the fact that the exercise is minimal based off what i was told during PT = bummer. back is still what it was from what i can tell so i just have to trust the professionals that are telling me what i'm doing is going to fix it. it's frustrating quite frankly. i wanted to be a few sizes smaller for when i try on wedding dresses cause i have a little less than a year and want to lose weight before the wedding but not at the last minute otherwise, the bill to have the dress taken in will be pricy. i was planning on having some of that weight already off. GRRRRR!!!!!!!!! i'm still doing what i can when i can to get in some exercises like boxing and long walks with the dogs but that with the kale salads just isn't cutting it. i think i need more options or medical opinions or motivation or something.
work still isn't helping the equation as it's super stressful with all the additional responsibilities and clients at the moment. something has to change on that soon or i am seriously going to burn the hell out. and the sitting all day at a computer for sure doesn't help.
anyway, enough ranting and venting. know that i am still working on it even if the work is tough and the rewards are minimal at the moment. guessing that really working more on the types of exercise will help. more to come sooner rather than later.

How about some positive reinforcement... You guys will be fine. Deep breath; just don't get too frustrated!
hang in there. hows getting gluten out of the daily diet going (besides the beer making). i know its a toughie, but it makes a difference - in weight and mood. have you tried to get into the "sweet spot" yet? i will tell you that while you are injured and not able to work out as much as you like, this would be the perfect time to try and find that "spot" as you won't be craving carbs quite as much if you aren't able to tear it up in the cardio...let me know if you need anything luvie, you know i'm one of your biggest fans, even if i am very far away!
thanks guys! the encouragement is much appreciated :)
we've mostly cut out gluten though we do cheat with our lunch wraps as the gluten free wraps taste like cardboard. and we've been good about limiting beer so we're way down on the gluten products that we relied on. we even made a risotto with cauliflower the other night! ryan's done better at the weight loss that i have thus far but he's more able to work out than i am.
just feels like we've made great strides on the diet side and yet i'm not seeing results thus far. trying not to get frustrated but it's difficult.
i feel ya. are you getting enough fat (this aspect is KEY to success)? but if you're doing everything by the book and still not seeing results than there might be something more going on...everyone kept telling me i was crazy and there was nothing wrong with me and i just wasnt working hard enough or eating clean enough to see the results i wanted...and what do you know? mercury and lead poisoning...huh. so if you feel something is off, look into it, if you feel like its just more discipline, have Ryan beat you when you mess up ;) hahaha! Dr Nikzad in La Jolla is a God send if it gets down to it. love you!
