unexpected surprises

well this weekend was full of 'em! started off with friday and the announcement of TJ :0) i'm so excited for ice and tommy! can't wait for their post-baby shower!! then there were the on again off again on again plans with cyn for our slumber party/early morning sat ride. she did end up staying over and we got up at 5 to meet sandra for a ride on sat morning. the ride was good but the run after was brutal. means that i gotta drag my lazy butt out for a long run today! we were done by 11 and headed to naked for some breakfast. after a long (and really good) chat, we headed out. i went home for a shower, nap, then some work :0(

so here's the second unexpected.......katie and matty and nathan drove out from phoenix to visit me!! they got in around 7/7:30 and we headed to tide water to meet up with katie b and katie h. had some dinner and chatted a bit. it was GREAT to have the miller's in town!! so we then headed to my place and put nathan to bed. matt put 300 in and i promptly fell asleep! what can i say, it'd been a LONG day!

sunday was a lazyish morning. nathan woke everyone up around 6:30 but katie and i snoozed til around 8. got up and made some B&G for the kids and then we lazed around til 10:30 ish when we all decided to take a nap! napped for a bit then got ready for the beach!! it was actually sunny outside when we headed to the beach and katie ended up getting a bit of sun. the three of them had a blast at the beach! i have some great pics i'm gonna post up on myspace. anyway, met up with the baker's for lunch at las olas and then hit the beach a bit more. everyone headed out their own ways and i cleaned up and did laundry and relaxed at home.
