so last night i introduced dad into the wonderful world of sdri......unfortunately no pauli-wog just yet. i didn't know it was his day off .... DOH! so dad is officially a brooks guy now (brooks kick ass) and actually let a stranger touch his feet (which is ridiculously rare cause he's got VERY sensitive feet and let's no one go near them)!! he's been running in a pair of aasics for FAR too long and his right foot hurts him after 8 miles......definitely time to get a good pair of shoes!
headed to ichiban on the rocks (love their spicy something something roll with jalapeños) and dad actually ate three whole pieces of sushi! he is by no means adventurous with food so we were all surprised. we even got him to drink some unfiltered saki!! it was awesome to hang with dad, bry, and nicole for dinner. wish that buddy and paul coulda made it but i'm sure i'll be having some sushi with them soon enough (or at least a girl can hope)!!
so the running joke in the fam is about how jen hates shopping and always gets stuck standing by the door holding people's crap. so we decided to take some random crap from bry's house and send it to her!! we sent her a note that said something like "please go stand by your door and hold our crap!" we put together a toilet seat cover, a vhs workout tape, a candle with no wick, and some other oddities. i can't wait to get a call when she gets the package :0)
well, the office is just starting to hustle and bustle so i'd better actually start doing SOMETHING productive!
